StoreFront 6 Service Pack 8
Issue List
- 0591 - Enhancement The USPS Registration Link within the Merchant Tools has been updated.|The USPS registration link in the merchant tools directed users to the home page of the USPS website, making it confusing for users to find the registration form.|The USPS registration link in the StoreFront merchant tools has been updated to direct users to the registration form. The link now points to http://www.uspswebtools.com/registration/|SE, AE, XE|Dreamweaver, FrontPage|ssl\Management\Controls\ShippingCarriersControls.ascx
- 2756 - Fix Error importing encrypted credit card data using AccountSync.|Customers using AccountSync to import order data into QuickBooks were encountering errors when importing Sales Receipts. This was due to incompatibility with the RSA credit card encryption added as part of service pack 5.|Encrypted credit card data is now being removed prior to creation of the Sales Receipt in QuickBooks. |SE, AE, XE users with AccountSync|Dreamweaver, FrontPage|cClientConnection.vb
- 2758 - Fix StoreFront is no longer passing a Verbosity value to VeriSign.|Customers reported getting errors when processing through VeriSign. The error message received was: ' ', hexadecimal value 0x1D, is an invalid character. Line 1, position 562. The Hexadecimal value that we were receiving back on failed transactions when using CVV is due to the VERBOSITY setting.|The Verbosity element has been eliminated from the request sent to VeriSign. The Verbosity setting stored in the VeriSign system will be used instead.|SE, AE, XE|Dreamweaver, FrontPage|None

- 2768 - Enhancement StoreFront returns a more descriptive error message on database errors.|In versions previous to StoreFront 6.7, if the site encounters an error when writing a new database record (for example, the transaction log or db file is full), StoreFront returns a very generic error. This makes troubleshooting database errors somewhat difficult.|Exception messages returned in SP7 will now include the Table Name and the cause for the exception.|SE, AE, XE|Dreamweaver, FrontPage|None

- 2771 - Fix Issue with case sensitivity in Frontpage 2003 has been resolved.|When opening a StoreFront 6 page in FrontPage, the following error is displayed in design view: "Error - Parser Error: Unknown server tag 'uc1:leftcolumnnav'." This error is caused by the inability of Microsoft Frontpage to parse the ASP.NET controls.|The tags have been changed in default.aspx and in some common controls files. They now open properly in FrontPage.|SE, AE, XE|FrontPage|Web\Default.aspx, Web\CommonControls\LeftColumnNav.ascx, Web\ssl\CommonControls\ LeftColumnNav.ascx
- 2775 - Fix Error using Payfuse without requiring CVV code has been resolved.|Payfuse throws an error any time the merchant is not requiring a CVV code for online transactions. The error message reads "The Cvv2Indicator-Cvv2Value combination is not valid. Cvv2 indicator = '1'. Cvv2 value is empty"|The request that is sent to Payfuse has been modified so that the CVV code is not set to a NULL value, if the merchant is not requiring a CVV code for online transactions.|SE, AE, XE|Dreamweaver, FrontPage|None

- 2777 - Fix In pervious versions, if an Attribute was modified, the inventory records were lost and had to be recreated.|StoreFront has modified the AttributeDetails so that they are not deleted and recreated with every update to attribute options. This in turn will ensure that inventory is not lost with every attribute update. However, if attributes are added or removed, the attribute combinations change, so the inventory data will still be lost in those scenarios.|StoreFront has modified the AttributeDetails so that they are not deleted and recreated with every update to attribute options. - 2782 - Enhancement Set ValidateRequest = False added to Merchant Tools pages where HTML is entered.|There are several pages in the StoreFront Merchant Tools where merchants typically enter HTML. For stores running on .NET Framework 1.1, this causes an error.|To prevent the error from occurring, ValidateRequest="False" has been added to the page directive in the .aspx pages. Since most people are now running on .NET Framework 1.1 instead of 1.0, ValidateRequest="False" has been added to these pages.|SE, AE, XE|Dreamweaver, FrontPage|ssl/management/EditEmail.aspx, ssl/management/ProductDetails.aspx
